This position is primarily responsible for administering the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) faculty credential compliance process. The position plays a critical role in ensuring UNCG remains in compliance with standards set forth by our accrediting body. This involves creation and maintenance of a Faculty Roster database, inclusive of Graduate Teaching Associates, by semester, that matches each credit course taught with an instructor of record (IOR); matching accreditation criteria for every course for which UNCG awards credit hours. Related responsibilities include preparing reports, reviewing and advising faculty education data, including transcripts and CIP (Classification of Instructional Programs) codes, and facilitating implementation of new processes for effectiveness. Minimum Qualifications BACHELOR? S DEGREE AND ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE RELATED TO THE AREA OF ASSIGNMENT; OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE. ALL DEGREES MUST BE RECEIVED FROM APPROPRIATELY ACCREDITED INSTITUTIONS. Additional Required Certifications, Licensures, and Certificates Preferred Qualifications Bachelor? s degree with at least two years of administrative experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills required. Incumbent must understand higher education and campus organization/operations to ensure effective planning and execution of tasks. Knowledge of academic programs is highly desired. Professional experience with SACS faculty credentialing compliance requirements is highly desired.
