No Online Closing Date 25-Jan-2021 Requirements Registration as a Professional Nurse with the South African nursing Council (SANC) / Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA) is required. A qualification in Nursing management and/or Nursing education will be advantageous. A minimum of 5 years experience as a Professional Nurse within a hospital. A minimum of 3 years experience in a leadership role within a hospital. Experience of Infection Prevention and Control and/or Clinical Facilitation with be advantageous. Knowledge and experience with clinical risk management. Knowledge and understanding of Nursing functions and knowledge of relevant nursing legislation. The ability to manage patient complaints and manage audits and accreditation processes. Prior knowledge of human resources processes including employee relations and financial management.Experience in managing staff productivity and continuous improvement methodologies. Upholds high ethical, confidentiality and professional standards. Responds constructively to pressure or stress, and resourcefully perseveres through challenges. Drives own development and maximises learning from feedback and self reflection. Adjusts to new and different people and situations. Builds trusting relationships by consistently valuing and respecting others and fulfilling commitments. Manages the unit's operational and capital expenses according to financial and budget guidelines and ensure optimal utilisation of resources. Manages and actively contributes to a positive patient experience in the hospital. Supports the achievement of interdepartmental outcomes. Manages key stakeholder relations.
