Our client requires the services of a Test Analyst (Senior) - Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: At least 6 years' worth of experience using Docker, Python, Linux (Ubuntu preferred) Rich experience with Container Orchestration Platforms e.g., Docker Compose ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Proven experience in automated testing using Python, .NET, and Angular. Proficiency in using Xray for test management and defect tracking. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) charter ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS: Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. Experience with other testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, NUnit). Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams. Understanding of API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI. Experience with cloud-based testing environments. ROLE: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python, .NET, and Angular. Utilize Xray for managing test cases, executing tests, and tracking defects. Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and create comprehensive test plans and test cases. Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure high-quality software delivery. Analyze test results, document findings, and provide actionable feedback to development teams. Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and quality improvements. Mentor and guide junior test analysts in best practices for automated testing and quality assurance. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in testing and quality assurance.
