Key areas of responsibility:Works with a defined sales quota focusing on initiating relationships with multilevel decision-makers through phone, marketing, email, direct mail campaigns, in-person contacts and cold calling
Ability to promote new product lines and process orders on relevant ERP systemDevelop, build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers
Develop innovative and creative solutions to identify and develop new customers
Propose and close sales that achieve set company target according to company policies and procedures.
Education and experience required:Minimum 3 years’ experience in the FMCG industry performing similar role
Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
Knowledge, skills and competencies required:Fully computer literate on MS Office, advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skillsCold Calling and telemarketing where necessary
Experienced in calling on customers, business development and quotations
Proven sales track record achieving sales targets
Very good written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work in a pressurized environment
