Position: Technician SupervisorLocation: Bellville, Cape TownDirect Report: Regional ManagerRequirements:Matric / Grade 12 with Maths, Science, and EnglishN6 and/or Diploma in Mechanical EngineeringTrade Test in an Engineering fieldBasic Business Management CertificateSACGA-accredited Gas Installer (preferred)Minimum 10 years' experience in a heavy engineering/production environment, ideally in the gas or related industry5+ years supervisory experience managing Technicians, Artisans, and ContractorsExperience in training and knowledge transfer within teamsProven ability to engage with customers and suppliers at all levelsStrong knowledge of SHERQ management systems and ISO standardsExcellent planning, organisational, verbal, and written communication skillsMedically fit to work at heightsValid Code 08 drivers licence and reliable vehicleWillingness to travel and work overtimeProficient in MS Office SuiteKey Responsibilities:Supervise all engineering operations and projects across the Western and Eastern CapeEnsure maintenance and project sections meet all legal and corporate standardsOversee preventative and corrective maintenance schedulesManage large-scale equipment refurbishments to reduce costsOversee technician training programmes and upskillingManage the execution of project work plansEnsure high standards of workmanship during on-site installations and maintenanceUphold SHERQ compliance and maintain ISO standardsMaintain the highest level of health and safety at all timesHow to apply:
