Technical Support Technician

Duties and responsibilitiesReceiving repairs, testing, and reporting on all products sold.Telephonic and direct after-sales support on all products being sold.Testing and evaluating of all products when required.Training of staff and customers on all products being sold.Minimum requirementsMatric certificateComputer skills (Outlook, Excel, and Word)Own Transport with a valid drivers license essential.Experience in the security or electronics industry would be an advantageNetworking skills would be an advantage.Tertiary Electrical or Electronic qualification would be an advantage.Experience in CCTV and Paradox Security Equipment will be an advantageSkills requiredHigh aptitude levelMeticulous with strong attention to detail and accuracyStrong numerical skillsMethodicalCustomer-centricGood interpersonal skillsResponsiveHigh level of confidentiality and professionalismGood time management skillsStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to cope with pressure and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently as well as in a team
