Minimum requirements for the role:
Tertiary Qualification in a Technical or Chemical related discipline is essential.
Previous Technical and/or Operational Management experience managing a team is essential.
Must have experience in dealing with a diverse range of internal and external customers.
Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Excel.
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Ensuring that all customers have technical information on products to ensure correct application.
Providing regular field support to customers and resolving technical problems and queries.
Managing the matching station and handling the matching of ink according to the client’s specifications.
Servicing clients and assisting the Sales Team to maintain and obtain new clients.
Advising clients of the product ranges and after sales services and following up with clients regarding any technical issues.
Ensuring customers are updated on any changes regarding completed trials, products and prices.
Developing the business by implementing an improvement strategy for the technical department.
Developing and implementing procedures and practices to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
Maintaining systems to comply with legislative requirements and ensuring that health and safety standards are adhered to.
Coordinating and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, safety and quality.
Providing product or staff training when necessary.
Working with the National Technical Manager to prepare the division’s annual budget.
