Technical Reporting Analyst (Investment Management) – 9-Month Fixed Term Contract

Our client, a global asset management company, is seeking a Technical Reporting Analyst to join their team.
Our client's dynamic Reporting Solutions team plays a pivotal role in enhancing the internal and external client reporting experience.
As a key member of this team, you will leverage technologies such as data warehouses, MS SQL Server, Python, and more to implement and refine innovative reporting solutions.
Your responsibilities will include gathering business requirements, developing detailed specifications, implementing robust solutions, and resolving queries.

Responsibilities: Create detailed reports, extracts, and queries based on requirement specifications using technologies such as SQLAnalyse and optimise the performance of stored procedures to ensure efficiency and scalabilityDevelop a solid understanding of the organisation's data architecture to support reporting solutions and resolve queries effectivelyCollaborate with various business units to gather requirements and translate them into clear, actionable specificationsIdentify and resolve issues in existing reports, implementing corrective actions where necessaryCommunicate analysis findings clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders Requirements: IT related degree is preferable, further studies is a requirementRelevant 3 - 5 years working experienceMicrosoft Technologies: MS SQL Server, Excel, Transact SQL experience essentialAsset management experience is highly desirableSome Python knowledge will be an advantageSource Control System knowledge desirable, GitHub Desired attributes: The ability to 'approach and own' and continuously looks for opportunities to developAbility to recognise and embrace changeAbility to analyse, interpret and assimilate informationA curiosity about technology and its potential to drive innovation
