Duties, but not limited to: Determines engineering production requirements for production team by conducting inspections and analyzing information provided by sales engineers / sales staff Engineering job processing, loading of jobs on GP (Understanding and working on Great Plains, Excel, Word Analyzing job information (cost, fan selections, materials of construction, delivery, technical specification, and quality specifications) Technical calculations / inspections (Aerodynamic, mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical) Purchasing of all bought items required for the manufacturing / testing of the fan equipment (Motors, bearings, power transmission etc.)
Compiling works order for production department Compiling of technical / quality manuals for equipment manufactured Prepares engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; entering data and generating reports and presentations; performing calculations.
Resolves engineering problems by collecting and analyzing information; researching, analyzing, adapting, and modifying engineering techniques; recommending solutions.
Issuing engineering drawing pack to various departments Assessing, costing & quoting of clients on repairs of fans and fan equipment Updating of all technical documentation when required Adhere to company policies & procedures May be required to work away from home if required Min Requirements: Matric Certificate or equivalent good marks & passioned about mathematics Mechanical Engineer Certificate/Diploma 1-2 years experience in an Mechanical Engineering environment Good communication skills Good Computer skills Bilingual Please send your CV to sanetcfw.co.za along with supporting documents & salary expectations.
