We're currently recruiting for a Team leader to join out team at our site in West Hallam.
The purpose of the role is to provide support for the operations manager supervising colleagues to meet or exceed operational requirements within a specific contract.
This will involve organising colleagues and supervising workload to meet operational KPI's with the agreed timescale.
It will be on a 6-month fixed term basis and hours of work are 8-4pm.
Pay, benefits and more: We're looking to offer a hourly rate of £11.52.
In addition, we offer 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays).

What you'll do on a typical day: Proactively takes accountability for achieving / exceeding customer requirements, driving tasks through to completion High level of stock responsibility/duties to include cycle counting, 2 nd checking, error investigations.
Inventory audits at the Roadside Technology Maintenance Centres located across the United Kingdom An ability to create an environment in which people want to do their best, inspiring energy and enthusiasm in others to achieve personal and team goals Monitor and motivate Warehouse Operatives performance promoting a good team spirit Ensure that training and development requirements of Warehouse Operatives are carried out providing support to any one experiencing difficulty Provide productivity figures for use in DC/customers reports Respond to and deal with customer communication by email, fax and telephone Prioritise and delegate tasks to meet deadlines Provide regular reports and statistical feedback, relating to the progress of work to the Operations Manager Ensure that the condition and security of the customers stock in the DC`s care is maintained What you need to succeed at XPO: Previous supervisory experience within a similar environment Willingness to work in stock dominated environment Analytical and logical approach to problem solving Skilled in warehouse activities Good administration and organisational skills and good understanding of spreadsheets and other packages Able to supervise and communicate with all levels of colleagues including the customer 30% of the job will involve working away from West hallam site, overnight stays and travelling Clean driving license is a mandatory Flexibility and working longer hours might be required Be part of something big XPO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
