It includes financial budgeting, forecasting, and accounting applications for the financial transactions within the Health Space.About the Financial and Cost Management Reporting TeamThe team comprises of two components that operate co-dependently to fulfil all the finance reporting requirements for Discovery Health SA as well as the cost management reporting for the segment.Key PurposeTo review and process journals and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
To conduct other adhoc financial reporting analysis and related tasks.
To lead and support a team.To review and post journals to record all entries in the GL.To review B/S accounts to ensure completeness, validity, and accuracy of Management Account.To prepare and present management accounts.To provide variance explanations on the management accounts.To review payments and meet the contractual timelines of these payments.To provide finance support to the New Market Executive team.To assist with budget preparations.Skills RequiredCommunicationDriveTime ManagementAbility to work effectively within a team and independentlyTeam playerAccuracy, validity, and completeness of information producedLeadershipExperience and QualificationsMinimum 1 – 2 years working experience in FinanceIn addition to the above, Minimum 1 – 2 years leadership experienceGood understanding of accounting principles and application thereofMS OutlookAdvantageousOnestreamEMPLOYMENT EQUITYThe Company's approved Employment Equity Plan and Targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
