/ Key Accountabilities
Lead and control Hired Equipment team’s execution according to the Resource Management work instruction, business instruction, commercial contract, supply chain governance framework and agreed Supplier KPI’sEnsure OTIF on HE service delivery by Suppliers
Execute the Sasol Hired Equipment service delivery in the respective regions
Enable Hired Equipment Quality Control team to ensure equipment comply to specifications
Responsible for safety management for HE team.
Monitor and regulate Suppliers’ preventative control processes as part of safety management
Facilitate pro-active Shutdown planning and execution
Ensure that the Hired Equipment transactions comply within the Procure to Pay (PtP) requirements
Provide advice and guidance to business partners and contract specialists in Hired Equipment technical fields
Maintain conducive internal and external stakeholder relationships
Ensure HE Team’s in time and accurate management reporting
Accountable for maintaining a safe laydown area for equipment at the relevant HE work areas
Ensure that all HE contracts are valid and pro-actively flag expiry dates
Conduct regular internal and external verifications/audits to ensure compliance to legal legislation and Sasol procedures
Formal Education
Relevant University Bachelor's Degree (e.g. Business administration / Procurement)
Technical/engineering qualifications N4 or related qualification will be an advantage.
Min Experience
4+ relevant years’ experience. Strong Maintenance/engineering operations/ experience.
Procurement experience will be an advantage
