Systems Analyst I

Minimum RequirementsMinimum 3-year IT qualification.Minimum 5 years relevant IT experience in Oracle EBS (Financials) implementation.Willingness to perform standby duties.Strong understanding of Oracle database and SQL.Oracle Certification (preferred).Experience in Oracle Financials configuration across modules.Familiarity with standard Oracle documentation (e.g., BR100/MD070).Experience with projects or large continuous improvement initiatives.Understanding of project management methodologies.Retail experience is advantageous.Key CompetenciesRoot cause analysis and solution recommendation.Results-driven with strong planning and delivery focus.Clear communication and active listening skills.Strong interpersonal and collaboration capabilities.Ability to adapt to changing environments and work structures.Resourceful in acquiring new skills and knowledge.Key responsibilitiesAnalyse Current Systems and Business RequirementsTranslate complex business requirements into business requirement definitions and specifications.Evaluate required system enhancements.Analyse existing systems and interfaces for improvement opportunities.Design New or Enhanced SystemsParticipate in process design/redesign, translating requirements into system designs.Design system enhancements and interfaces.Adjust system specifications in response to testing or requirement changes.Provide input to deployment plans based on designs.Testing of Proposed SolutionsDevelop system test plans for system and integration testing.Perform testing and provide feedback on results.Implementation of New SolutionsAssist with the creation and handover of system administration procedures.Participate in post-implementation reviews and provide SME input during implementation.Support Current SolutionsResolve user queries and provide input to support teams.Ensure system stability and provide functional leadership.Collaboration and Business SupportWork closely with business and IT stakeholders.Provide input for user training material and operational support.Share knowledge and support audit requirements.DocumentationDevelop and maintain relevant SDLC documentation.Maintain design and interface documentation.Please note:If you have not heard from us by 30 April 2025, please consider your application unsuccessful.
