Join GEW Technologies (Pty) Ltd as a Procurement Planner and play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations.Job Purpose:The Supply & Inventory Planner is responsible for overseeing and executing all procurement tasks, ensuring efficient planning and order execution by managing planning personnel.
This role involves enhancing internal communication, addressing demand deviations, and aligning with key stakeholders to meet operational targets.Key Technical Skills Required:Strong supply and procurement skills, with expertise in Production Planning and Control processes.Ability to interpret data, ERP requirements, and create effective planning strategies.Proficiency in MRP principles and best procurement techniques in a low volume/high variety environment.Advanced reporting skills, particularly in Excel.Business awareness with a focus on cost efficiency and commercial impact.Key Responsibilities:Customer Focus: Understand customer needs, anticipate challenges, and proactively resolve issues.Forecasting and Planning: Develop cost-effective supply projections and manage ordering policies.Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, reduce obsolete inventory, and optimize replenishment.Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity in MRP systems.Adhering to Policies: Maintain ISO 9001:2015 standards and uphold company policies.Required Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Supply Chain Management or equivalent (NQF Level 8).MCIPS qualification (advantageous).Minimum 8 years of supply chain experience, with at least 3-5 years in a similar planning role.What We Offer:HENSOLDT South Africa focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion in our organizational strategy.
