Job DescriptionAn exciting vacancy exists at Cape Town International Airport for an experienced Supervisor Tactical Response Unit within the Enterprise Security and Compliance Division.Key Performance OutputControl incident and accident scene until the relevant agencies takeoverCoordinate incident and accident with relevant agenciesProactively assess Security thoroughness and responsiveness within the aerodromeInvestigate and report all Security incidents/deficiencies, non-conformances and complaints at high level and implement remedial action.Provide rapid response to all incident and accidentEnsure compliance and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and inspect registers where applicable.Provide input into reviewing of Standard Operating Procedures.Proactively plan daily security activities.Ensure timeous reporting, follow-up and feedback on all incidents and accidents.Compile relevant incident reports.Build and maintain sound internal and external stakeholder/customer relations whilst balancing enforcement with professionalism.Manage stakeholders complaintsCollaborate with SAPS and government agencies within the airport precinct.Ensure that the necessary particulars of the issuing of the firearm and ammunition are entered into the relevant firearms registers during booking in and out of a firearm.Ensure the safe keeping of firearms and ammunition handed out to you.Ensure implementation and adhere to procedures at all times.Minimize threat and risk of staff, whistleblower and VIP'sStabilize serious crimes within the identified sectorsCombat public violencePrevent acts of unlawful interferenceTechnical Skills And ExperienceNational Senior Certificate Grade 12 is essentialHigher Certificate SAQA accredited Policing Training is essentialTactical / Armed Rapid Response 3 years operational experience is essentialTactical / Armed Rapid Response 2 years supervisory experience is essentialCompetenciesReport Writing (Advanced)Planning and OrganisingAnalytical ThinkingCommunicationAttention to DetailCustomer Service OrientationEthics and IntegrityConflict ManagementProblem SolvingPeople ManagementDispatch communicationInterrogation techniquesRisk ManagementApplication and EnquiriesKindly apply online for this opportunity.
