MAIN JOB PURPOSE
The role of the Supervisor: Programme Delivery and ETQA Control (PQA) is responsible for implementation of overall quality of learning delivery standards, materials, and Education Training Quality Assurance practices. This entails the supervision of a quality control and ETQA team and performing tests/audits to verify quality of learning content design, development, review, facilitation, assessments, and moderation through to exiting of learners before they hit the market.
Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
•Minimum of Diploma in Education or equivalent
•Higher Certificate in OD-ETDP will be advantageous
•Certificate in Quality Auditing will be advantageous.
•Strong computer skills including MS Office, QA applications and database.
•Assessor qualification is a must
•Moderator qualification is a must
•Project management certificate or equivalent will be advantageous
•Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Quality Assurance
•Moderator experience advantageous
•Assessor experience advantageous
•At least 3 years’ experience in a training environment
•1-2 years’ experience in Learner Management System
•Quality Inspection, auditing and testing experience will be advantageous.
•Experience in effective usage of data analysis tools
•Minimum of 3 years computer skills including MS Office, QA applications and database.
DUITES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties of the Supervisor Programme Delivery and Quality Control include:
•Collaborate / provide input in drafting of quality assurance policies and procedures
•Monitor QMS, ensuring policies and practices are aligned
•Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures.
•Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
•Analyse data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
•Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
•Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
•Identify training needs for internal staff to meet quality standards.
•Monitor risk management activities.
•Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
•Assist with institutional compliance with the relevant bodies for programme delivery.
•Innovate and supervise the quality of courseware and training delivery.
•Oversee the quality of the training guides and new materials.
•Manage monthly and weekly training schedules.
•Supervise quality control of classrooms and training venues infrastructure.
•Work with Campus and ETQA Managers to ensure the final products meet their needs and requirements.
•Supervise the processes and procedure relating to content/material development, storage, review and application/use in the execution of training implementation
•Edit curriculum to ensure material meets the standards set by relevant authorities/bodies and legislative framework; and adhere to educational principles and current / best practice concepts while being learner
appropriate
•Prepare assessment designs and instruments are appropriate and credible, meet relevant requirements /market expectations, and comply with accreditation standards
•Review and audit of all learning content design, review, and use/engagement
•Monitor the development of facilitator standards and classroom delivery for effectiveness, professional and differentiated learning experience
•Meet with the Facilitator ETQA team bi-monthly ongoing learning and development/CPD/ capacity building/Train-the trainer programme demand
Managing Learner exiting quality
•Ensuring that external moderation for competent learners takes place
Team Supervision
•Supervise and develop departmental staff
•Interact, coach and recognize superior performance and address substandard performance of team members.
•Maintain a working environment conducive to productivity, employee wellbeing and retention.
•Contribute towards recruitment of department staff in collaboration with National Manager and Human Resources Department
•Ensure the correct disciplines and teamwork are in place
•Demonstrate effective, fair leadership, and inculcate the company values and culture
•Supervise and engage diverse teams effectively
•Collaborate on continuous professional development of team members
•Drive the performance of each member of the team on a daily basis as against individual targets
•Ensure that team members abide by internally established control systems
