Road Safety Products The position is based at the Isando depot. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Housekeeping – Ensure that the yard and storage areas are always clean and neat Check purchase orders to verify that correct stock codes, descriptions and specifications have been detailed. Tracking and expediting of all orders relevant to your department. Ensure that correct stock and quantities are received and allocated to the applicable storage areas Keep track of minimum stock levels to ensure optimum levels are maintained. Report any stock requirements or discrepancies to the plant manager Check goods loaded for customers during the loading process to ensure correct items and quantities are loaded. Where possible, arrange pre-picking of stock for pre-planned loads. Liaise with sales staff regarding stock availability and loading dates Assist Plant Manager with quarterly and year end stock takes Updating of all spreadsheets allocated to you Recons of Depot stock sheets, and organising of transport for depot stocks Working overtime as and when required Any other related duties as required by management from time to time EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: National Senior Certificate. Previous RSP experience will be advantageous. Computer literacy. Good paperwork procedures Excellent telephone manner Ability to communicate with and deal with customers at a senior level. Previous technical experience including ability to read technical drawings. (Preferred). Must be in possession of a valid Code 08 Driver's Licence. Appointments will be directed in accordance with the Employment Equity plan.
