Well-established and growing manufacturing company seeks to employ a Storeman to ensure the warehouse is organised and to facilitate receiving, dispatch and managing of stock.
Based in MuizenbergFor the position you would be required to have: Minimum of Grade 12/ MatricMinimum of 5 years' experience as a Storeman in a manufacturing environmentProficiency in ExcelFlexible to work shiftsCode 10 driver's licenseResponsibilities would include you to: Manage issuing and receiving finished goods, raw materials, consumables and tools.Manage damaged goods and waste as per company regulationsManage activities related to container loading as per the shipping loading scheduleAssist the stores and warehouse manager in stock takesPerform stock checks and cycle counts as neededEnsure FIFO is adhered to and there is consistent flow in and out of the warehouseEnsure warehouses are kept clean and organizedManage all stores and warehouse ERP related activitiesEnsure accurate data management and record processing with regards to GRVs, warehouse transfers etc.
