This role will primarily focus on ensuring that the required amount of good quality and genetically pure seed is produced by the growers. Job Functions Quality Control,Research and Development Industries Agriculture,Production Specification ?Planting dates?Delivery of Basic Seed and Plant Material?Timing of Inspections for Field Inspection Report and Phytosanitary Documentation?Flower management?Harvesting and delivery of seed lots?Identifying new Growers?Establishing long term sustainable relationships with Growers?Carrying out routine Field Inspections?Carrying out SANSOR and Phytosanitary Inspections Requirements ?National Dip Agriculture or a B Tech or BSc Agriculture Accreditation•A valid driver’s license essential.•3 years’ relevant experience. •Knowledge of horticulture (with specialisation in vegetables) will be an added advantage.•The successful candidate will be dealing with growers on a daily basis and strong negotiation and communication skills are therefore required.
