We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Specialist Event Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to bring people together through seamless event execution and thoughtful engagement strategies including exceptional corporate gifting.RequirementsWhat You'll Be Responsible ForAs our Specialist Event Coordinator, you will manage the full event lifecycle from brainstorming and planning to flawless delivery and insightful post-event reporting.
You will be required to take ownership of logistics, vendor and budget management, attendee engagement, and elevate the experience through strategic corporate gifting initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & Execution: Develop timelines, budgets, and logistical plans for internal and external events, ensuring flawless execution from start to finish.Venue & Vendor Management: Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with venues, caterers, AV providers, and other key vendors.Budget Management: Create and track event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.Attendee Management: Oversee registration, communication, and on-site support to ensure a smooth attendee journey.Corporate Gifting (KPI): Curate, source, and manage thoughtful and brand-aligned corporate gifting strategies that enhance engagement and strengthen relationships.
Track and report on effectiveness as a key performance indicator.Post-Event Evaluation: Collect and analyze feedback, measure success against KPIs (including gifting impact), and suggest improvements for future events.You're hands-on, organized, and people-oriented with a knack for problem-solving and creativity under pressure.Skills & QualitiesOutstanding organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesStrong vendor and budget management experienceConfident multitasker with attention to detailAble to adapt to changing demands and work occasional evenings/weekendsStrategic thinking around engagement and giftingProficiency in MS Office and event management tools (RSVP software, Teams, etc.
)Qualifications & Experience2–3 years of hands-on event coordination experience (non-negotiable)Certificate or Diploma in Events Management or related fieldExperience managing corporate gifting & exposFamiliarity with procurement processes and project management principlesThis position will be onsite, in our George Office, Western Cape.The position will be filled in line with the Badger Holdings culture, values and Employment Equity policy and plan.
