Details of the offer

- To ensure risk assessment is done on a regular basis for trade customers to make sure the company is not financially exposed.
- Maximise collections, in order to assist the company in managing its working capital and contribute to reduction of bad debt. To also ensure customer billing queries are resolved within SLA

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- 3-year Degree / Diploma in Finance or related
- Minimum 3 years credit control experience in a corporate environment with high focus on service delivery
- Minimum 2 years accounting experience

POSITION OUTPUTS
Customer Queries Resolution:

- End to end query resolution with correct escalation path and feedback to the business and external customers
- Oversee all the investigation on the Customer queries timeously
- Oversea the calculation the credit due to the customer by billing and communicate these credits to the customers accordingly
- Ensure resolution of any queries raised, timeously and ensuring appropriate corrective action through relevant stakeholders
- Ensure revenue leakages identified via the Revenue Assurance process is continuously updated
- Prepare trend analysis of client invoices with the objective to pick up anomalies
- Investigate and report all invoicing abnormalities identified
- Review a root cause analysis on credit notes issued to assist in defining corrective action to avoid repeats

Collections:

- Run weekly age analysis and monitor balances
- Accurate allocation of payment to invoices as per remittance received within agreed timelines
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure maximum collections to reduce debtors' days to current
- Meet monthly collections targets prescribed
- To handle disputed accounts and negotiate with clients to bring payment in line with terms.
- All engagements and activities with customer must be documented on the core system with clear and accurate notes of update
- Daily handling of diaries, PTP's, payment plans, etc.
- Full accountability that all accounts allocated in your book is actioned monthly and is collected on
- Liaise with billing, product managers, legal and all relevant stakeholders to ensure optimal collections

Debtors Management:

- Be the custodian of the age analysis
- Ensuring that the customer call cycle is strictly adhered to and achieved
- Positively impact cash flow by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payments of accounts receivable
- Produce regular and accurate reconciliations for customers' accounts and ensure that payments are allocated, and these are stored centrally for ease of access.
- Timely engagement with customer on default payments
- Resolution of customer disputes and queries related to the function to ensure timely collection of payments

Credit Risk Management:
- Ensure the Credit risk exposure is within the acceptable risk
- Ensure compliance with the company credit risk framework
- Perform risk assessment on new and current accounts to ensure Credit risk exposure is within the acceptable credit tolerance levels with the company
- Manage working capital within required parameters and Operating budgets
- Engage and influence to ensure alignment of key stakeholders, namely: Managed Network Services, Finance and Product Heads.
- Ensure that the company is always in possession of the latest customer information to assess risk exposure
- Calculate and report on Bad debt and credit notes provisions at a customer level monthly within deadline
- Establish relationships to optimise collections activities
- Manage debtors days within company targets
- Provide input in all relevant wholesale agreements drafting

Reporting:

- Generate weekly and monthly reports
- Provide adhoc reports required by head office
- Co-ordinate project reporting at the end of each project
- Perform the following trending to monitor collections:
- Month on month movements in age analysis of each business unit
- Month on month collections in each business unit
- Targets vs actual collections
- Perform month-end processes within the deadlines
- Perform reconciliation between the sub-ledger and General ledger
Customer Relationship:

- Responsible for maintaining and building good internal and external customer relationship based on Brand values.
- Liaise with customers to ensure client expectations and service levels are being adhered to regarding maintenance of customer accounts
- Ensuring that client queries are resolved within agreed SLA's, TAT's and set guidelines
- Attend client meetings to speedily resolve outstanding queries, so that the client can pay within stipulated timelines (payment terms).
- Provide accurate advice and education to customers to ensure adherence to all standards and operating practices.
- Deliver first time right service excellence and by displaying the brand values to customer during all customer interactions- all forms.
- Responsible for escalation and feedback to customer on all issues and matters raised both by customer and channel (sales, etc.)
- Timely notification to customers and channel on items identified that may impact the customer and pro-active approach to resolve these items.
- To liaise with Managed Network Services and have regular contact with clients by agreed mediums. Notify on status of accounts.
- Have regular meetings with the customer

Quality Management:

- Ensure evaluations and quality checks are done according to the company quality standards
- Ensure adherence to credit management PPP
- Ensure service delivery according to quality standards
- Ensure that the Audit points and findings are addressed and completed
