Spares Buyer / PlannerSupply Chain, Gauteng JHB - Western SuburbsR 25000 - R 35000 Monthly
My client is based on the West Rand and is looking for a Buyer / Planner for their spares department. Solid inventory and procurement knowledge with SAP and advanced Excel skills.
Key requirements include:
Relevant degree or National Diploma
Forecasting and planning experience is essential
Self starter
Analytical and logical
Key responsibilities
Oversee the spares inventory and keep accurate and updated records
Respond to all spares enquiries
Creation of items to list for new product launches
Execute POs with shipping and suppliers
Sourcing of local alternatives
Track rates of sales as well as repairs to inform purchasing decisions
Ensure optimal inventory levels to reduce backorders, improve service and reduce excess inventory
This role requires a strong team player with a positive attitude. Must be calm and level headed and able to work under pressure and within deadlines.
