Busy high-end Restaurant close to Plettenberg Bay is looking for a talented Sous Chef to join their team.If you have a passion for culinary excellence and proven experience in leading kitchen operations, we want to hear from you!Duties:Ensure the efficient and profitable running of the kitchen.Versatile and able to work in all sectionsMust be consistent in delivering exceptionally high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.Being actively involved in menu development and being up to date with the latest food trends.Working closely with Executive chef in creating and elevating all aspects of the culinary experience.The ability to develop, train and inspire a diverse team of junior chefs.Being proactive in managing food control systems to ensure margins are maintained.Requirements:Grade 12 & a formal culinary qualificationA minimum of 5 years' experienceRestaurant experience / high volume experience essentialGood communicatorObvious cooking skillsAble to assist with the day-to-day running of the kitchenWill report to Head Chef directlyOwn transport essentialAble to control the pass during serviceAssist the head chef in all areas of preparation
