Baker Hughes has an opportunity for a Source to Pay Center of Excellence (CoE) Planning and Performance Lead based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The Source to Pay Planning and Performance Lead will be part of the Source to Pay CoE. Responsibilities include supporting the Baker Hughes Product Company Supply Chain organizations through effective use of performance metrics and scorecards. The successful candidate will have functional and analytical skills and will be expected to work in a team atmosphere while working with limited supervision and will need to plan for and manage his/her daily activities and complex projects/issues. The successful candidate will be expected to apply analytical, technical, and industry knowledge, standards and practices to both routine assignments and complex projects. The Lead will collaborate and develop strong business relationships with business stakeholders, CoE Leadership, and internal/external IT resources. The Lead will need to perform analysis and management information reports for multiple work streams and systems in a highly complex environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
Functional Owner of Source to Pay CoE reporting tools
Satisfy both strategic and tactical reporting requests with appropriate prioritization consideration
Implement and maintain Performance Management reporting across multiple work streams and Product Companies
Work with Product Company leadership teams to understand business needs/ requirements and define reporting needed to address these needs/requirements
Develop working relationships that motivate the Baker Hughes Source to Pay team members to deliver required service levels and to facilitate the speedy and effective resolution of issues as needed
Drive continuous improvement by working with the leadership teams to understand gaps and performance improvement opportunities
Develop a strong working relationship with IT resources, and develop an understanding of source system data structures
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
5+ years of experience in Sourcing Initiatives.
Ability to develop and manage information and performance reporting for the Product Company Source to Pay teams
Strong interpersonal, communication and analytic skills
Able to work within a team environment with critical drivers/timelines and to adjust to changing priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools - SAP, Oracle, SQL, Thoughtspot or other applications would be strongly desired
