Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree (B. A.) in Social Work or B Social Science Degree from four-year College or universityMinimum of 2 years' relevant experience within key populationsSACSSP (South African Council for Social Service Professions) registrationComputer literate in MS Word, Excel and PowerPointProficiency in English and IsiZulu languagesValid code 8 driver's licence Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides psychosocial support and counselling services to sex workersProvides individual and group counselling to the families of sex workersCoordinates closely with Case Manager and provide holistic supportFacilitates harm reduction group session, individual sessions and family co-jointEducates clients and their families on harm reduction and related issuesFollows up on referrals with regards to psychosocial and emotional needs of clientsNetworks with all relevant stakeholders and implement an effective referral systemProvide treatment adherence for sex workersDesigns training modulesRecord and maintain accurate and detailed client information and interventionsMonthly reportingLinks clients to housing, shelters, safe spaces and other government facilitiesParticipates in interdisciplinary team meetingsWorks within the framework of the ethics and scope of practice of the social work profession Skills and CompetenciesExcellent communication skillsLeadershipAttention to detailProblem-solvingStakeholder managementExcellent organisational and administration skillsReporting and statistics
