Key Deliverables / Primary Functions Drafting, and reviewing all contracts Providing legal advice to subsidiaries and Telkom Group on all matters Negotiating all applicable contracts/ service level agreements on behalf of the Telkom Group and subsidiaries with internal and external parties Researching and providing legal guidance on applicable legislation for compliance purposes Coordinating all legal matters for the purpose of instructing external attorneys Manage the resolution of disputes Providing legal support and assistance to ensure compliance with relevant legislation) Drafting opinions/submissions /memos to internal stakeholders at various levels in Telkom Group Review and analyse settlement proposals on disputes with suppliers and customers - work with portfolios with regards to obtaining the best possible settlement proposal for the Telkom Group Identify, manage and monitor legal risks within the company, as well as its client to whom the company provides a services Core Functional Skills & Capabilities Impactful Communication Business Negotiation Contract Management Core Behavioural Competencies Job Match Adhering to principles and values Writing and Reporting Analysing Learning & Researching Persuading and Influencing Minimum Qualifications NQF 8: Honours Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma in Law Additional Education -Preferred /Advantage Experience • Minimum of seven (7) to nine (9) years relevant legal experience, preferably within an ICT environment.
Certifications Admission as practicing Attorney or Advocate Professional Memberships in Relevant Industry Level of Engagement & Span of Control Span of Control 0 Level of Engagement Engagement will all levels within the organisation, internal and external to the business.
