Relevant Degree (B Com, IMM diploma or 3 year diploma or degree)
Post graduate degree preferred.
3-5 years’ experience in brand manager position – experience in relevant industry (Pharmaceutical / CAM / FMCG) will be preferred industry experience.
Classical marketing expertise developing and executing strategy comprising both above and below the line activities
Mix of traditional and digital media and marketing knowledge with strong aptitude to communication and management
Customer Relations Management (CRM) data base data mining for target market reach
Ability to plan New Product Development and guide this into full product launch
General commercial acumen with strong understanding of financial principles, brand income statement and marketing budget to BMI level and the ability to practically apply these to the brand
Ability to assess creative concepts and executions e.g. advertising consumer promotions, packaging, public relations (PR) opportunities
