DutiesOperate Slitting Machine efficiently according to pre-defined production and waste targets.Produce products approved by the quality department that meet the specified quality norms in the job's specification.Identify problems that arise in the machine, communicate them to the shift in charge, and coordinate with the maintenance team to rectify issues with minimal loss of productive time.Maintain machine health, following set industrial safety, food safety, and personal hygiene compliance in the work area during machine operation.Accountable for daily input and output reconciliation of consumed raw materials and produced printed material by the end of the shift.Follow the rules set by plant HR for plant entry and exit, as well as disciplinary acts.Encourage and maintain a clean and safe environment.Key Performance IndicatorsActual Production vs set target, monitored daily and monthly to ensure efficient and rapid make ready.Actual Process Waste vs set target, ensuring finished products exceed customer expectations.Internal and external quality complaints found in the produced product, monitored daily and monthly.External quality complaints and rejections after sale within the set target norm.Adherence to personal and industrial safety guidelines.Compliance with QMS and Food Safety standards in the department during machine operation.Learning and training in machine operation with assistance from an assigned senior machine operator and under the guidance of the reporting manager, monitored monthly and quarterly.Maintaining a good relationship with the machine team and reporting manager.QualificationsDiploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or ITI, with 2-6 years of relevant industry experience.SkillsKnowledge of mechanical systems.Basic computer skills, including MS Office applications.Presentable demeanor.Good and clear communication skills.
