Location: Pretoria, GautengRequirements:Diesel Mechanic Trade qualificationMinimum 35 years' post-trade experience working with diesel engines and heavy vehicles or equipmentStrong knowledge of fault diagnosis and repair proceduresProficient in reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic softwareA commitment to workplace health and safety practicesValid drivers license Responsibilities:Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and air systemsConduct scheduled maintenance and inspections on trucks, heavy vehicles, and machineryCarry out component overhauls, rebuilds, and system upgrades as requiredUse diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex mechanical issuesMaintain accurate records of work completed and parts usedAdhere to company safety policies, procedures, and compliance standardsSupport apprentices and assist in mentoring junior staff when necessary
