Site Agent

Our client is medium sized construction company based in Cape Town, operating for the last 17 years in the construction and renovations sector. They are currently looking to recruit a young, highly efficient and technically minded Senior Site Engineer/ Site Agent. The candidate must be capable of managing multiple projects of a renovation/ alteration nature and with some of those being in occupied spaces. He/ She must be capable of delivering work of an exceptional quality and maintaining a very high standard.In this role you will be required to oversee site operations and administration on multiple renovation projects ranging in value betweenThe ideal candidate will be required to;Manage site teams made up of site foremen, OHS, clerks, subcontractors, etc.Work on a basic/ intermediate level with CCS in generating and updating programmesCompile and submit fortnightly progress reportsManage and drive progress on sitesTake responsibility for project quality and QA documentationRepresent the company in meetingsPlacing orders for materials and with subcontractorsAssist in handling contractual and legislative correspondence timeouslyEnsure financial performance by controlling all resources optimallyKey Qualities/ QualificationsND/ Btech/ BSc in Civil Engineering/ Construction Management5 years of technical experience in a role of a similar natureA basic understanding of JBCC and NEC contractsMeticulous in document management and implementation of processesA high degree of ethics and representation of company valuesMust be able to communicate at all levelsIn this post, you will report to the Contract Manager
