NOW RECRUITING - SHIFT LEADER: LAUNDRY!Fancourt, South Africa's premier golfing, leisure, and lifestyle destination, located in George in the heart of the Garden Route, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Shift Leader – Laundry to join our team.Please review the role description and apply if you meet the requirements.Requirements:Minimum qualification of Grade 12 (or equivalent NQF 4 certificate)At least 2 years' experience in a laundry environmentDuties include, but are not limited to:Responsible for stock control of linen, including monthly stock takesCounting linen going to and coming from external service providersPerforming on-the-job training with Housemen and Room Attendants on linen handling to prevent misuseReporting and maintaining linen qualityEnsuring guest laundry and dry cleaning are billed and handed over to Front Office for chargingRecommending improvements to laundry operations to achieve set objectivesThe ideal candidate:Has a passion for the industry and can uphold the standards of the Leading Hotels of the WorldIs physically fit to lift and carry heavy bagsIs accurate in stock counting and attentive to detailCandidates should have their own accommodation in George or surrounding areas and be willing to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts.If you have the suitable experience and qualifications, please apply online by 13 May 2025 at NOTE: The company's Employment Equity Plan will be considered for all appointments.
