The ideal candidate will act as the liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory service experience.
Key Responsibilities:Customer Interaction: Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and accurately document vehicle issues and service requests.Service Coordination: Schedule service appointments, coordinate with technicians, and ensure timely completion of work.Communication: Provide customers with updates on service progress, explain technical details in an understandable manner, and advise on necessary repairs and maintenance.Documentation: Prepare and manage service orders, invoices, and warranty documentation accurately.Quality Assurance: Ensure all services are performed to the highest standards and customer expectations are met or exceeded.
Minimum Requirements:Education: Matric / Grade 12 Certificate.Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership environment.Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in dealership management systems (e.g., Evolve, Kerridge), and a good understanding of vehicle mechanics.Licenses: Valid driver's license.
