Our client is seeking a Service Advisor to join their team, based in East London.Successful candidate will be required to greet customers, listen to requests, schedule appointments, estimate costs, conduct vehicle inspections.Minimum Requirements:-Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic advantageousMatricMinimum 5 years working in a Service DepartmentExcellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficient computer skills, including knowledge of automotive service management softwareAbility to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholdersValid driver's license and clean driving recordDuties to include (amongst others):-Communicates with clients about vehicle problems, cost estimates and advise on maintenance and warranty repairsMaintains positive relationships with clients to ensure repeat and return customersApproaches transactions with sales-minded professionalism including making customer aware of any maintenance and warranty extensions offeredAnswers customer questions about services, including when to expect vehicle repairsDisplays extensive knowledge about products and servicesEnsures customer vehicle is finished on time and details for customer services rendered and costs for those services, ensuring satisfaction at every step of interactionCommunicates with technicians about vehicle statuses, and ensures that vehicles will be ready for customer on timeActs as an advocate for clients when communicating vehicle problems and needs to repair department
