Job DescriptionStore Openings & Project ExecutionLead all VM activities for Markham store openings, including ordering VM collateral, creating planograms, and ensuring timely delivery.Ensure clear communication and alignment with all stakeholders.Collaborate with various teams to align on timelines and execution strategies.Manage supplier relationships for timely production and delivery.Oversee project milestones, ensure deadlines are met, conduct post-installation audits, and maintain detailed records of collateral and store layouts.Visual Merchandising CoordinationMaintain efficient VM collateral inventory for reuse and cost optimization.Coordinate promotional and campaign rollouts, ensuring brand standards.
Keep an up-to-date database of store details, VM components, and layouts for brand.Raise purchase orders on the Coupa system, track budgets, and process invoices accurately.Compile effective National communication for stores and load onto the relevant platform to ensure timely execution.Stakeholder EngagementAct as a liaison for VM discussions with stakeholders, ensuring project alignment.Support the VM field teams with VM strategies to enhance brand visibility and in-store experience.Present updates through detailed reports and presentations to senior stakeholders.Trend Research And AnalysisStay abreast of all new VM trends and conceptualise new window and in-store ideas to ensure an enhanced and relevant customer experience.Qualifications And ExperienceDiploma or degree in Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, Fashion Design, or related fields advantageous.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar retail role, ideally in fashion.Head Office experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably within the Clothing Retail industries.
Experience working with VM suppliers and retail partners is advantageous.Technical skills in visual merchandising software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign).
Experience with Coupa, Mockshop, and Yoobic proficient is a plus.Familiarity with South African fashion and market trends.Fluency in English; additional South African languages are advantageous.SkillsCreative design skills, attention to detail, and project management.Thrives in fast-paced environments, thinks creatively, and generates innovative solutions.An excellent communicator who builds strong relationships with stakeholders and articulates ideas confidently.Knowledge of current fashion and retail trends.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Budget management skills.BehavioursReadily takes on new challenges and opportunities with a sense of urgency and eagerness.Effectively considers the diverse needs of various stakeholders.Establishes and nurtures internal and external relationships in order to create robust, and mutually beneficial, partnerships.Applies market and business insights in order to drive organisational objectives.Effectively works with others to achieve shared goals.Preference will be given, but not limited to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.About UsWho we are is because of our people.
