KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for aSenior Superintendent I, Utility Plant ProductionThe Kamoa Copper Mine, is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometers west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometers west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.Play your part in our team succeeding...To manage, coordinate, control and oversee the safe continuous and efficient supply of power and production of nitrogen, water, and compressed air to the smelter. The role includes operationalising strategy, monitoring and reporting on machine performance, energy efficiency, and the management of resources (technical specialists) to ensure that daily production targets are met.You will have the following:Bachelor's Degree (Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering)10 years' relevant smelter Utility plant experience with proven experience in building and commissioning a Utility plantAt least 5 years experience in a managerial positionFluency in English.
