Purpose of the Position:

- To develop and execute SEO and conversion optimization initiatives to drive KPI growth

Key Performance Objectives
Tasks

- Work with Performance Marketing Team Lead to execute strategic initiatives to drive the growth of KPIs via organic search and app store optimization (ASO) for our websites and apps.
- Develop and brief tests and initiatives
- Track overall owned media footprint and impact on KPIs
- Weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reporting and analytics of non-paid channels
Operational Delivery

- Perform periodic technical SEO audits and work with tech to implement, tracking and reporting on post-implementation impact to the organization
- Contribute ideas to testing pipelines for all performance marketing channels
- Deliver an ongoing ASO strategy to continuously optimize and improve app page funnel metrics (traffic/visitors, installs, and conversion rates) for brand apps

- Recommend, execute (working with tech) and report on on-site conversion optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the content marketing team, providing weekly and monthly recommendations to drive growth of blog KPIs
- Conduct daily behavior/data analysis in Google Analytics and similar tools that would provide customer insight and subsequently add value to campaigns
- Based on tests conducted by the performance marketing team, share periodic insights around user behavior with CRM, Content Marketing, Creative and Content teams.
- Mentor interns and contribute to training

Stakeholder Management
- Maintain the brand identity throughout the messaging by collaborating with the marketing team
- Collaborate closely with creative, community management and content teams to ensure campaign success

Qualifications Essentials:

- National Diploma or Equivalent NQF Level 6 Qualifications in Business Management or similar
Qualifications Preferred:

- Grad Degree or Equivalent NQF Level 7 Qualifications in Marketing, Media or Communications

Experience
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years training/mentorship in a professional environment
- 2-4 years’ experience as an SEO or conversion optimization manager
- Fundamentals of technical SEO mastered
- Experience with content marketing
- Exceptional communication skills at all levels in an organisation
- Strong base of interpersonal skills
