Senior Security Technician (JB5321)Randburg, GautengR20 000 - R30 000 per monthDuration: PermanentA well-established technology solutions provider is seeking two experienced and motivated Senior Technicians to join their team.
This role involves managing technical projects from stock control through to commissioning and handover, ensuring the seamless delivery and performance of advanced security and network systems.
Technicians will be based at the office each morning before traveling to various client sites during the day.
The ideal candidates will have a strong background in access control and network infrastructure, excellent communication skills, and the ambition to grow into more senior roles.Minimum Requirements:At least 5 years of experience in a senior technician roleDemonstrated experience in managing technical projectsFluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skillsValid driver's licensePSIRA Registered (Minimum Grade C)Willingness to travel to various job sites dailyDuties and Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end project delivery including stock control, installation, system commissioning, and handoverInstall, configure, and maintain Impro access control and HikCentral Professional systemsAdminister and troubleshoot Mikrotik and Ubiquiti network infrastructureProvide technical support and training to both clients and internal staffMaintain detailed documentation for all project activities and system setupsEnsure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standardsLiaise directly with clients to understand requirements and offer tailored solutionsOversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring milestones are metDeliver clear and detailed reports on project progress and system performancePlease do not apply using Scanned CVs, no supporting documentation is required at this point, this will be requested later.IMPORTANT: We specialize in specific niche fields.
