Annually Cost To Company (Market related)FMCG concern in Mobeni is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Safety Officer to join their team.
This hands-on role involves comprehensive SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) management and security responsibilities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Complete SHEQ management and site securityConduct internal audits, inspections, and hazard identificationDevelop and implement standard operating procedures and work instructionsLead incident investigations and manage injury claimsCoordinate safety training programs (on-site and off-site)Oversee contractor safety managementPerform management plant walks and site inductionsManage legal appointments and complianceChair the Health and Safety CommitteeHandle SHEQ reporting and risk managementIssue work permits to employees and contractorsSupport capital expenditure projectsProcure personal protective equipmentConduct equipment inspections and maintain registersImplement environmental management protocolsREQUIREMENTS:Grade 12 educationMinimum 5 years relevant experienceSAMTRAC certificationIMS Internal Auditor certification (preferred)Working knowledge of ISO9001, 14001 & 45001 (preferred)MS Office Package skills (Intermediate level preferred)Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
