Senior Reservations ConsultantA luxury Big 5, Four Star Game LodgeHead Office team in Johannesburg.Hospitality Reservation experience requiredEssential duties include but are not limited to the following:Answering reservation calls pleasantly and courteously in accordance with the required standards.Booking internal flights and road transfers for guests as required and other ad hoc third-party services.Booking reservations that must be handled according to company minimum standards for turnaround, confirmation, and follow-up.Ensure that all booking notes are correctly updated on the reservations system to ensure the highest service standards.Ensuring data integrity and accuracy.Follow up on pre-payments and ensure all deposits are accurately posted against each booking.Issuing confirmations, pro forma invoices, and credit card payment links.Liaising and communicating with internal stakeholders effectively.Maintaining accurate system records of agents' and guests' bookings, payments, and additional information.Managing Online Travel Agents' extranets and responding timeously to guest messages.Skills and Qualifications required:A minimum Matric certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent is essential.Ability to work in a small team environment.Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.Excellent written and verbal communication skills (essential).Experience working on booking systems (PANStrat experience is a bonus).Knowledge of sustainable tourism practices is an asset.Own transport is essential.Professional and courteous demeanour, including suitable work attire.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel (essential).Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.Tertiary qualification in Hospitality/Tourism would be an added advantage.The Offer:A hybrid role is not an option.Competitive salary R 25 000 - R 30 000Permanent position (Subject to 3-month probation).To be considered for this role, you must have the right to work in South Africa.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentEducation:Diploma (Preferred)Experience:Hospitality Reservations: 3 years (Preferred)Panstrat booking system: 3 years (Preferred)Hotel booking system: 3 years (Preferred)Word and Excel: 3 years (Preferred)#J-18808-Ljbffr
