As a Senior Reporting Consultant , you will implement and support a leading consolidation, reporting, and planning software solution used by some of South Africas most prominent entities. This is a hybrid role that combines technical financial skills, systems implementation, and client relationship management. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of automated reporting and planning solutions Build customised applications using Excel-based templates and group reporting structures Import and map data from multiple financial systems into the software Design dashboards, analysis tools, and output reports tailored to client requirements Support and maintain client accounts post-implementation Deliver training, provide documentation, and present solutions to finance teams Actively identify and propose new opportunities for clients to enhance software usage Collaborate across teams to improve processes and drive client success Requirements: Financial degree (e.g. BCom Finance) or completed CIMA Minimum 5 years' experience in: - Financial reporting, budgeting, or forecasting (with full ownership of the process), OR - Implementing and supporting financial reporting software solutions Deep understanding of financial statements, management reports, and consolidation principles Advanced Excel expertise (formulas, VLOOKUP, INDEX, charts, data validation, conditional formatting, etc.) Strong model-building skills using Excel, especially for financial reporting Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Confident, presentable, and able to engage with senior finance stakeholders Strong problem-solving ability and high energy levels A systems-oriented mindset and desire to grow into broader business or leadership roles If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
