WHAT WILL YOU DO? As a leading South African developer of legal software solutions for the South African and international markets, we are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our multinational team, to drive the QA role in the team, apply best practice and push automation by mentoring and guiding others. Set the strategy for the quality direction of the product. Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met. Establish more efficient ways to test features and identify the relevant test platforms. Actively participate in expanding, maintaining and overseeing automation projects. Own and champion particular technologies/tools and suggests innovative ideas and enhancements. Improve and review test analysis, processes and project test strategies. Facilitate, lead and mentor Quality Analysts. Identify gaps in the QA resources and assist in recruitment. Provide technical leadership for projects. Ensure timely and high-quality assurance for the product. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE CONSIDERED? Relevant 3 year IT/Finance/Accounting degree. 6+ years of experience in testing complex software systems. Experience in web testing and automation e.g. Playwright or Postman. Leadership experience - coaching and mentoring other team members Team player, independent, out-of-the-box thinker, and self learner. Passion for learning and mentoring, enjoying seeing others succeed Excellent understanding of testing concepts and the role of QA in Scrum. Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines. Analytical and logical problem-solving skills. Experience executing and designing test cases. Experience creating and maintaining testing environments. Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Basic SQL skills. Must be a South African citizen or hold a valid work permit.
