Senior Project Financial Manager

4 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT AVAILABLE - Parktown Johannesburg The Senior Project Financial Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounting and confirmation of Discretionary Grants Projects at this SETA. This role involves managing contract confirmations, project statuses, accounting treatments, updating commitment schedules, and maintaining accurate records related to confirmed Discretionary Grants Projects.   Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required: NQF level 7 qualification in Finance or Accounting. A qualification in Project Management will be advantageous. 7 years of work experience, including 5 years in a supervisory role, with at least 3 years in a Senior Finance management position.   Key Outputs, Outcomes, and Success Indicators: Confirmation of Discretionary Grants Projects. Valid and Complete Commitment Schedule. Verification of supporting documentation against discretionary contracts. Tracing Discretionary Grant recipients. Reduced DG Commitment balance. Maintenance of the commitment schedule and commitment note. Accurate monthly reconciliations. Continuous improvement of financial policies and practices. Reduction in overall audit findings. Efficient document management.
