What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
Your responsibility will be the full suite of engineering activities for projects entering the bidding, pre-construction phase. You will be technical lead across wind, solar and storage projects. In this diverse role you will organise and control internal engineering resources assigning responsibilities, contracting and managing external engineering resources and support. An emphasis on technical optimisation of all project elements is always around with a focus to reduce the cost of energy. You will be in a position to contribute to the company strategy when it comes to project pipeline and development.
Where you’ll be doing it
You will join an international renewable energy developer with a team that is passionate about green energy. They don’t only focus on one technology, their interests are diversified to include solar, wind and storage.
What you’ll need
An engineering degree is non-negotiable, this is after all a position that requires strength in the technical engineering area. You have 5 years’ experience working within the renewable energy sector (consultant, developer) on any or all types of technologies; wind, solar, storage. You have experienced responsibility for projects from bidding phase, pre-construction and know that you are required to develop, procure and manage particular competencies related to this.
