Senior Production Supervisor

Purpose of the roleSupervises the activities of a group of employees/ controllers engaged in performing a variety of production or assembly operations. Responsible for the training of new employees as well as the training in safety procedures.Responsibilities include:Controlled & reported product quality parametersControlled product & production processes Maintained people, plant, machinery and equipment to improve efficienciesControlled raw material stock levelsEnsured safety, health & hygieneManaged teamMinimum RequirementsNational Diploma / Certificate in Production Management or Operations 4 - 5 years supervisory experience within the manufacturing / production environment Computer skills including SAP and MS OfficeWorking Shifts Sound understanding and application of safety, health & hygiene Sound understanding of controlled Food manufacturing production processesMust have experience to set and monitor KPI''sExperience in structured stock take and cycle counts including backflushing and adhering to BOM''sExperience in planning staff and materials to achieve production targets as per budgetShould you not be contacted within 7 days, please consider your application as unsuccessful
