Senior Process Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Cape Town.This is an initial 12-month hybrid contract - onsite 3 times a week.
The Senior Process Engineer's role is to work with business and projects to identify areas where business processes and performance can be developed or improved.The aim is to apply business process principles in the analysis of As Is business operations and the creation of the To Be business operating models and business process artefacts.Essential Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, or Information Technology.Essential Certifications: CBPP, Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt or Black Belt, and BPMN / UML.Added advantage: TOGAF, EA Sparx, FTI, Post grad diploma Agile Certification.Preferred Qualifications:Certified Business Process Associate (CBPA)Business Analysis Certification (FTI)Project Management Professional (PMP)OMG Certified Expert in Business Process Modelling (OCEB 2)Business Process Management CertificatePresentation CoursePreferred Qualification (Advantage):Value Chain AnalysisValue Stream MappingBusiness Architecture CertificationToastmastersSoftware Development qualificationMinimum Experience Level:5+ years experience as a Process Engineer working in an Agile environment.Technical / Professional Knowledge:Industry knowledge required: InsuranceProduct knowledge required: Savings and Income, InvestmentsSystems preferred: Bancs and BizagiPrinciples of project managementRelevant Insurance regulatory knowledgeFacilitation techniquesPresentation SkillsSystem Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Insurance related Policies, Procedures and system KnowledgeModelling: EPC / BPMN / UMLProcess DesignProcess MeasurementsAnalysisBusiness writing skillsAgile Concepts
