About the roleThe Senior Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in leading Rubicon's marketing department and driving the strategic marketing efforts to achieve our company's business objectives. Reporting directly to the Group Head of Marketing and Communications this position is responsible for overseeing all marketing operations, including strategic planning, team leadership, data-driven decision-making, cross-departmental collaboration, creative direction, budget management, and market analysis. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strategic vision, creative innovation, and operational excellence, capable of both executing the current marketing strategy and shaping future growth.Key Responsibilities:Strategic planning and execution: Collaborate closely with the GHMC to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Rubicon's broader goals. Regularly review strategy effectiveness, making adjustments to optimize ROI.Team leadership and development: Lead the marketing team with a focus on fostering a culture of collaboration, productivity, and innovation. Mentor team members, supporting their professional growth and ensuring high levels of team engagement and performance.Data analysis and decision making: Utilize data and analytics to inform marketing decisions. Analyze performance metrics, market trends, and consumer insights to refine marketing strategies and improve outcomes.Cross-departmental collaboration: Ensure marketing strategies are fully integrated with other business areas. Work in partnership with our commercial, product development, and after-sales service teams to create cohesive and impactful campaigns.Creative direction and content oversight: Provide direction for the creation and execution of marketing campaigns and content, ensuring consistency with Rubicon's brand voice and strategic goals. Oversee the creative process and guide the messaging across channels.Budget management: Oversee the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively across projects to meet financial targets and maximize marketing impact.Market Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor strategies. Apply insights to keep our marketing efforts innovative and competitive.Vendor and stakeholder management: Manage relationships with external partners and stakeholders. Negotiate with vendors, oversee agency partnerships, and ensure alignment with strategic marketing objectives.Continuous improvement: Advocate for and implement a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
