The role requires deep expertise in Windows and Linux environments, networking, virtualization, and security.
The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting abilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.To be considered for this role, you must complete a full application on our company careers page, including all screening questions and a brief pre-employment test.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESKey Responsibilities:Manage and maintain Windows Server (2003/2008 and newer) and CentOS Linux environments.Ensure optimal performance and security of Windows 7, 10, and 11 operating systems.Administer Exchange 2010/2013 and Active Directory, including user management, group policies, and security configurations.Configure and maintain iSCSI SAN/NAS storage solutions based on EMC and NetApp technologies.Implement and manage RAID technologies and methodologies for data integrity and performance.Oversee networking infrastructure, including Foundry and Dell switch gear, Cisco routers, and firewalls (Cisco 515E / ASA-5510).Deploy and manage virtualized environments using VMware.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues across multiple platforms.Collaborate with development teams to support PHP-based applications, web development, and modern frameworks such as Yii2, React, and .NET.Implement containerized applications and CI/CD workflows.Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to IT project management.Maintain and update legacy systems while supporting modernization initiatives.Lead IT projects and mentor junior administrators and developers as needed.Ensure IT compliance with security policies and industry best practices.CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONSWONDER IF YOU ARE A GOOD FIT FOR THIS POSITION?All positive, and driven applicants are encouraged to apply.
The Ideal candidates for this position are highly motivated and dedicated and should possess the below qualities:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT administration and infrastructure management.Expert knowledge of Windows Server, Linux (CentOS), and Windows desktop operating systems.Strong experience with Active Directory, Exchange, and network administration.Proficiency in RAID configurations, SAN/NAS storage, and VMware.Hands-on experience with Foundry and Dell networking equipment, as well as Cisco routers and firewalls.Familiarity with PHP development, modern web frameworks, and Agile methodologies.Exposure to .NET architecture and experience with React for front-end development.Experience with containerization, CI/CD workflows, and legacy system maintenance.Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Leadership experience and ability to mentor junior team members.COMPENSATION DETAILSWANT AN EMPLOYER THAT VALUES YOUR CONTRIBUTION?At MCI, we believe that your hard work deserves recognition and reward.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset.
