Education & Certifications: National Senior Certificate (Matric).
Relevant IT qualification (e.g., Diploma or Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or Networking).
Preferred Certifications: Microsoft 365: MS-900, MD-100, MD-102, MS-102, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400.
Fortinet NSE 4 or higher.
Cybersecurity: Security+, CEH, CISSP (advantageous).
ITIL Certification (advantageous).
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in IT support, cybersecurity, and network administration.
Proven experience providing dedicated IT support to multiple clients at a high level.
Hands-on expertise with FortiGate firewalls, VPN configurations, and security event monitoring.
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security policies, compliance, and identity protection.
Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group policy security hardening.
Experience with SIEM tools, endpoint security (EDR/XDR), and forensic investigations.
Familiarity with cloud security, hybrid IT environments, and backup solutions.
Understanding of network architecture, segmentation, and secure remote access.
Key Responsibilities: Dedicated Client Support & IT Operations: Provide high-level IT support, troubleshooting, and advisory services to assigned clients.
Proactively monitor and manage client IT infrastructure, security, and network environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex server, network, and Microsoft 365 issues.
Ensure that client IT policies, compliance, and security frameworks are properly enforced.
Assist clients with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and security-related tasks.
Security & Network Management: Administer, monitor, and secure FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
Configure and maintain network segmentation, VLANs, and access controls.
Implement Zero Trust security models and enforce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Manage SIEM solutions, conduct log analysis, and respond to security incidents.
Perform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
Microsoft 365 & Server Administration: Administer and secure Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
Manage Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group policy.
Implement Azure security policies and support hybrid cloud infrastructure.
Support backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity strategies.
Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate IT security documentation, network diagrams, and client infrastructure reports.
Assist clients with IT compliance initiatives (ISO 27001, GDPR, POPIA, and NIST).
Conduct security awareness training for internal and client teams.
