Job DescriptionWe currently have an exciting position available for a Senior Industrial Relations Consultant, to be based at our satellite branch in Welkom. You are responsible for
Inclusive of, but not limited to: Retaining all clients as well as servicing clients in terms of all IR issues.Provide training to all clients as per LabourNet standardsAll clients are visited once per monthAll clients are contacted as per scheduleThese typical IR issues can range from:
Chairing of disciplinary inquiresDrafting of judgments for clientsAssist with the issuing of warnings to ensure complianceDrafting and implementing policiesRepresenting clients in the CCMA and Bargaining CouncilsTo more complex issues like:
Strike ManagementDispute Resolution: drafting correspondence to clients, the CCMA/Council, Union Officials and other employee representatives; gathering and compiling evidence, analyzing evidence and the preparation of witness testimonies; representing clients at conciliation, con/arb, and arbitration level as well as pre-arbitration proceedings; assist in settlement of disputes.Package & Remuneration: Salary: R28 050 CTC per month

QualificationsYou'll need a customer-first mindset and the following skills to succeed in this role: 3 years B. Degree or equivalent in HR/IR/LLB or related field2 years and moreexperience in labour law (consultations on retrenchments, strikes, chairing disciplinary hearings,dispute resolution etc.)At least 6 LAPs completedEagerness to learn the ins and outs of labour lawExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Must be able to effectively function within a pressurised and fast-paced environmentValid driver's license and own vehicle is essentialAdditional InformationIn return, we offer you Culture We pay attention to output rather than time spent, and we offer a flexible working environment.
