Focused on meeting the unique needs of its diverse clients, SEB assists companies in creating and delivering customised employee benefits solutions, including the collection of premiums and communication to fund members.
What will you do?
Review monthly reconciliation between system and asset manager statements;
Review monthly investment analysis to be used by Fund Accounting department to update the general ledger accounts;
Review annual reconciliations between system and asset manager audit certificates;
Review annual investment analysis to be used by Fund Accounting department to update the general ledger accounts and for audit purposes
Prepare audit files, assist auditors and Fund Accounting department with queries
Prepare annual regulation 28 report per fund for the to be submitted to the Financial Services Board
Prepare monthly/quarterly Regulation 28 reporting for monitoring purposes
Review quarterly South African Reserve Bank report for exchange control purposes
Assist team leaders and other staff in team as and when required
Assist manager with ad hoc projects and other tasks
Adhere to deadlines
Qualification & Experience
Matric/Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting
In possession of or studying towards a 3 year financial related qualification will be advantageous
Knowledge and Skills
Competencies: Technical Competencies
Knowledge of the Retirement Fund Administration Environment
Two years relevant reconciliation experience
Retirement Fund Accounting experience will be an advantage
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
